| Spring in the Garden -2012 |
It's a dark, dreary, windy, rainy day. And it's rather chilly.
But I don't mind.
We need the rain.
And I bought a jacket a few weeks ago that I'm happy to wear for the first time.
I have to say though that this has been a very confusing few weeks. Temperatures in the high 20s feeling like the 30s (that's Celsius) which is in the 90s for those still using the old Fahrenheit scale to measure temperature. And it's been humid. This is not spring weather in this part of the world, but maybe it's a new trend, one we will have to start acclimatizing ourselves to.
So I'm thinking of my garden as it was in spring. It won't be long before we are officially into summer. My mind boggles that it is already the 1st of June. Already I'm seeing the summer flowers beginning to show their faces.

And I'm thinking of colour and combinations of colours.
This photograph of my favourite pjs...which I only took off a while ago...I love the colours which aren't coming out as cleanly as they could...a fuchsia/coral mix with aqua. They make me happy.
If I wasn't scheduled for a therapeutic massage in an hour, I think today would be a perfect day to just stay in those favourite pjs.

ReplyDeleteWe have a lovely day here in NH with sun and temps in the 70s but the rain is coming in for the weekend. And I have nothing but hanging at home on the schedule which is just what i need ! Pjs, see you in the am !

I could use colours here, at least it would change from this grayish sky we've been having a the past few weeks. On the other end it gives for gorgeous raindrop shot.

The gorgeous plants in your garden put me to shame. Ours is a sea of green. As for your cosy Pj's I would be tempted to live in them, they look SO comfortable. I have never had a massage I must sort that out. When I go to a rather upmarket hairdressers near us they do a head massage along with a deep conditioning treatment, it feels wonderful.
